Learning To Play Violin
The violin is a beautiful instrument and many people are dreaming of learning how to play the violin.
But most of us believe it is one of the hardest instruments to master and you need to be born with a special musical talent for it. Some say you need to begin training your ear at a very young age or you will never be able to hear perfect pitch.
Thousands of adults who have started violin lessons at a later age are the living proof that this is not true.
Learning to play the violin involves many skills, including reading music and combining rhythm with melody. Your enthusiasm and dedication are all that you need to master this fantastic instrument.
Even if you’re not willing to learn how to read music it is still possible to learn how to play violin. The easiest method is by watching someone else play. You can start with very short phrases and after a while you will be able to memorize complete songs.
This is why I love training with online videos. You start with a very simple lessons. You learn about the different parts of the violin and how you have to hold it. The posture is also very important. The neck and shoulder should always be relaxed and even though your wrists have to be curved, they should not be held rigid but remain very loose and movable.
The biggest advantage of online violin lessons is that you can watch them as often as you like. It’s like having your own private teacher who doesn’t get bored when you are asking him to show the same thing over and over again.
Usually you start with simple classical melodies. But after a while you will be able to play well known music that will impress your friends and family.
As much as I like classical music I’m having a lot of fun fiddling bluegrass or playing jazz tunes.
